Summary

This was adorable。 Less steamy （though it definitely has its moments） and more sweet than anticipated， these childhood friends are so loving and gentle with each other。 They just desperately needed to communicate。 Once they did though， their happiness was palpable。

Well this is officially my first BL series （I'm not sure if my Mate of Suites would be proud or shocked。。。） and it was a pretty cute story except that the whole plot was driven by a horrible failure to communicate and just say what you mean。 Which I guess is realistic and believable and I'm just one of those people who want to smack characters who do this。I will say that the biology of this series is confusing and slightly worrisome。 For example， an omega in heat is basically under the influence Well this is officially my first BL series （I'm not sure if my Mate of Suites would be proud or shocked。。。） and it was a pretty cute story except that the whole plot was driven by a horrible failure to communicate and just say what you mean。 Which I guess is realistic and believable and I'm just one of those people who want to smack characters who do this。I will say that the biology of this series is confusing and slightly worrisome。 For example， an omega in heat is basically under the influence of Ecstasy， so consent is iffy。 Meanwhile， alphas have a hard time resisting omegas in this state which does result in Kanade being sexually assaulted。 What if an omega was mated against their will？ Does this mean they're permanently connected to their rapist？ And what of omegas like Hatano who are in love with betas but have to find an alpha to stop their heat cycles？ Basically， while the story between Kanade and Munechika is adorable and wholesome， I can also see how this set up can go horribly wrong in certain circumstances。 。。。more

I've Been an Omega Since Today is an Omegaverse BL manga and oddly enough there aren't that many out there translated。 Thus it was great that this manga is one of the better ones and the story is actually quite credible and sweetly mundane。 Kanade and Munechika are childhood friends and both have had feelings for one another since forever。 Kanade was first tested as a beta， but due to circumstances turned into an omega getting heats and feeling nasty because of it。 Thus Munechika helps him。 Sex I've Been an Omega Since Today is an Omegaverse BL manga and oddly enough there aren't that many out there translated。 Thus it was great that this manga is one of the better ones and the story is actually quite credible and sweetly mundane。 Kanade and Munechika are childhood friends and both have had feelings for one another since forever。 Kanade was first tested as a beta， but due to circumstances turned into an omega getting heats and feeling nasty because of it。 Thus Munechika helps him。 Sex eases the symptoms and they need to think about becoming a pair of course， but misunderstandings are on their way of course。 So， in a sense cliched， but still quite well done and gladly the guys talk and we get to see in their heads， which is great。The art is OK， nothing spectacular， but works。 The sex scenes are quite mild and cute instead of erotic， which plays well with the friendship elements。 The characters do have personas and all in all I've Been an Omega Since Today is very normal in a good way。 Many Omegaverse stories are quite nasty， so I'm glad this avoided rape scenes and such。 At the same time this hardly felt like an Omegaverse story actually， which can be both good and bad。 Either way， a good read even if not that amazing。 。。。more

De los mejores mangas omegaverse que he leído， es bastante soft y sin dramas innecesarios， solo se centra en la pareja。Es de rápida lectura y no vemos mucho de los personajes del manga， pero si logramos situarnos en el principal problema que tiene el manga， el punto de conflicto si nos muestra un avance bastante claro y te dan ganas de leer más， además de hacer que los personajes se desarrollen en relación al punto de conflicto
